Shihpoo Pups

Shihpoos are a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Miniature Poodle. These toy sized companion dogs are known for their friendly nature and playful temperaments.

Shihpoos come in a wide variety of colors. Their coat may favor the curlier Poodle coat or be more smooth and long like a Shih Tzu’s. In either case, Shihpoos should be brushed several times a week and will look their best if professionally groomed ever couple months.

These adorable little dogs will need a moderate amount of exercise. They are typically very adaptable to their owner’s lifestyle. They enjoy playtime as well as daily walks, but are also known for their snuggly, lap dog characteristics as well. While they enjoy the outdoors, Shihpoos are definitely indoor dogs due to their small size. They will reach about 8 – 20 pounds as adults.
